Ah, I don’t think much has changed since the year 2000 Ant, especially on the railway! We absolutely loved it. Shame they took away first class with table service after lockdown as I really wanted to do that at least one way
I absolutely loved it! I think that we could quite easily have taken our own things off his shelves at the back but then you’re making lovely people completely redundant so as an ex waitress of five years I’m a bit conflicted…
Ugh ugh ugh! Cmon lady you need your dancing shoes back on! So sorry about the toe look after yourself lovely. Sending you and Craig shiny happy thoughts. Lots of love x
I had a small sway to a couple of groovy tracks the other day – that’s the closest I’ll get to dancing for some time I’m afraid! Love to our LA family x
I’m being forced to write up lots at once because WordPress keeps locking me out! I’m so glad I’m doing it as you forget things too quickly on a whirlwind tour… thanks for the inspiration and your own amazing blogs AC and UP! X
Hello Catherine
Only just found this,I’m enjoying Craig’s amazing photos didn’t know he had a drone hope you’re doing okay with your toe you have so many amazing places still to do keep the pictures coming
Lots of love Barbara 😘
Hello Catherine. Enjoying your travel news. You will no doubt be having a chuckle to yourselves in that we have snow and freezing weather here in Yorkshire. Enjoy the sunshine! Take care, Mum and Max. X
Hi Max! Yep, I have Keighley permanently in my weather app (along with some other places) so we saw that it was -1 and snowing yesterday! Hope you are both wrapped up warm and enjoying PS and making lists – I don’t need to say which round round those apply to you and Mum! I have to highly recommend missing winter, it’s fab! Lots of love to you both, hope you enjoyed Moby, there’ll be more songs for you guys at some relevant stage x
Up to date with the blog! Doesn’t that give you a feeling of satisfaction? Unfortunately it doesn’t last long – somehow time moves on and you’re quickly behind again (mind you, you’re doing pretty well). Re Iris, we’re watching a rather clever reality show called The Piano in which that song featured. So having never heard it before, now twice in a few days. Funny how that happens!
I’m learning more and more that it’s a very small world! I’ll need to look that up when we get back. Yes, I’m very happy that I’m up to date, it’s a very satisfying feeling although I’m probably going to fall behind for a while as once we leave here tomorrow we have three one night stops in a row…hope you’re having a good weekend x
I prefer sizzled! 🍸 Tell me that story when we meet for Shirley’s birthday lunch! Preferably over a margarita or two as clearly three is one step too far! X
TranzAlpine, brings back memories, and glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, but how did you feel about being served by robots? Is it going to catch on?

Not surprised you’re taking a break. It is quite time consuming, isn’t it? And you’re being more ambitious than we were – lots of songs too.

Did I ever tell you about the time I got sizzled on three frozen Margaritas in New York?

Or even sozzled. Bloody auto-correct.
